Emma Rose Bailey is not a wardrobe assistant. In fact, she’s never even been backstage before. Her best friends are not all-singing all-dancing triple threats, she doesn’t pay attention to the mysterious goings on of the latest theatrical scandals, and she definitely doesn’t know how many pairs of shoes a dancer gets through in a month. But when a case of mistaken identity gives her the chance of changing all those things, she finds it hard to resist, and she’s quickly pulled in to the world of a seemingly cursed touring show. Before long she becomes befriended by its embattled cast, and she can’t help attempting to help fix their show’s run of misfortune.
